In 2012 an important part of the Czech humanitarian engagement in Afghanistan has been Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) implemented by PRT Logar again. Their main focus were mainly supplies of needed material to health facilities, local authorities or media, cleaning of weirs and canals, and small reconstructions/refurbishments of schools. In addition to that Czech Republic supported a humanitarian project of Caritas CZ “Providing Food Security in Parwan and Kapisa Provinces” (2 mil. CZK = approx. 100 mil. USD).
